For my fellow yarn-crafters, if you fancy doing a little something for charity, but have only a very small amount of time, you might consider crocheting or knitting a 5-inch square for Be Aware, Make a Square.
All you have to do is get hold of some of the yarn in the chosen colours (Stylecraft DK Special in Spice, Lime, Petrol, Gold, Plum, Teal and/or Bright Pink) and send it in by 28th February 2015.
The squares will be made into an afghan (or more than one, depending on how many squares are sent in) which will then be auctioned to raise awareness of meningitis, and money to help families with children suffering from this dangerous, and sometimes fatal, illness.
