52 things – week 19

52 things in 52 weeksAnother week of green smoothies (check back over my most recent entries for some fabulous green smoothie recipes – try them, and I promise you won’t be disappointed, but you may be very pleasantly surprised!), another week of, well of just getting on with things, really. Not an awful lot of progress this week, but the numbers are slowly creeping up…

1. Read 52 books in 52 weeks (33/52)

Finished: Amanda Grange – The Earl Next Door (Kindle e-book)
Reading: George RR Martin – A Dance with Dragons Pt 2: After the Feast (A Song of Ice and Fire #5b)
Reading: Jane Austen – Persuasion (Kindle e-book)

4. Read only books that I already have, have been given as gifts/to review, or have borrowed from the library for 52 weeks (19/52)
Still managing to resist buying myself any new books. It’s getting a little easier, but not much!

Film and Television:
7. Watch 52 films in 52 weeks (27/52)
Watched: Hansel and Gretel (2013)

9. Watch 12 films that are newly released in 2013 (4/12)
Watched: Hansel and Gretel (2013)

Health and happiness:
27. Lose 14 lbs (11.5/14) cancelled due to pregnancy!
I’m beginning to wonder about this one, as I’m actually now around 3lbs lighter than  I was immediately pre-pregnancy! This is largely down to the whole hyperemesis gravidarum (extreme morning sickness), but also down to eating extremely healthily. I also give some credit to the green smoothies! In some ways, it’s just as well I’m a big girl anyway, so I have plenty excess to spare without causing any harm to Button.

Food and drink:
38. Eat only vegetarian meals one day every week (19/52)
Vegetarian day: Thursday

45. Save all £2 coins for 52 weeks (19/52)
Total saved in £2 coins: £58.00

46. Save all 1p/2p/5p coins for 52 weeks (18/52)
Total 5p pieces saved: £11.10
All coppers have gone directly into Tadpole’s piggy bank.

50. Self portrait picture every week (19/52)
Another week, another photo…

19. Week 19 - 06.05.13
Week 19

51. Post a weekly update of my progress on my blog (19/52)
