A last minute cross stitch project for Halloween

I hope you’ve been enjoying my little Halloween charts over the last few weeks. Well, there’s still time for another one if your fingers are still itchin’ to get stitchin’!

I reckon this little bat flying against a full moon would look great on a Halloween treat bag. It’s only two colours – black for the back and pale silvery-blue for the moon. Actually, don’t you think the moon would be fabulous in metallic silver? Or how about that glow-in-the-dark floss you can get? That would be awesome as you crept down the darkened street with your little ones, glowing bag in hand, bat in flight!

It’s just a small design – 71 stitches wide by 50 stitches high – so you could stitch it in an evening. So even if you have several bags to decorate, you could still get them all done in time to Trick Or Treat!
